By request of applicants interested in interning with Prep Society, LLC (PrepSociety.com) for 2012, we are providing the following information. (FYI: these are the same details that were available via LinkedIn subgroup, pre-March 23rd). We have received many emails from interested students, alumni and others – we will be making a decision, soon.  In the interim, please refer to this blog post and feel free to post any questions.

Dear Candidates,
If you read my blog post, How To Receive ROI From Giving Back, you already know of three things…
1. I’m serious about “Giving Back” in ways which enable others to prosper and I actively make time to do so, because  I am incredibly grateful to all of those help me learn and grow.
2. The internships my partners and I offered, last year, were very successful, fun, experiences for both our interns and our startups. We’re keen on having a repeat performance this year.
3. I was very fond of the opportunity I received to participate in the inaugural, 2011 Leadership & Career Networking Event at my alma mater. This event, in particular, is close to my heart and has proved to be extremely helpful for those of us offering internships as well as those prospective interns in-seek of professional experience. There is a strong likelihood that my partners and I will fill our internship positions with students or alum who took the time to inquire and attend these events.

Update:
Having just returned from the 2012 Leadership & Career Summit, held this past Friday – March 23rd; I am as thrilled to see our event grow in numbers and activities (such as the awesome alumni and student band during dinner!).  I spent quality time, again, with the talented peers, cheerful current and retired staff and the bright students who attended. I owe an enormous shout-out to Bill Robertson and his staff for pulling-off another successful event, as well as giving we alum and students this wonderful networking opportunity - thank you!   Likewise, it was a nice treat to see the Dougherty’s, Kay and David, as well as Mr. Thomas Ruth, the Nelson’s, the Dollhopf’s, Margie Ritchie-Neiswender, and so many others I met, networked or caught-up with, who also took the time to make an appearance this year.  I owe special thanks to Joe and Jen Lagor for their hosting and hospitality. There are too many alum and students to list, but it was absolutely awesome seeing or meeting you – I’m already looking forward to next year. (Hopefully, we don’t wait another 365 days to hang, again, eh)!?  And lastly, but certainly not least, I want to thank Brian Kendrick for his convenient and fun carpool to/from Pottstown, Pa. this year.
